Founder & CEO
Nick Wang
Nick grew up in China before he came to the US for graduate studies at the University of Colorado, Boulder. He has extensive business relationships with Chinese schools, companies, and NGOs.
Nick is a cross-cultural communication expert and enjoys learning via travel. He has been leading Real Asia to help many schools across the US with their faculty-led study trips.

Joe Lucero
With over ten years spent abroad, Joe has developed a vast global network and has been able to travel extensively throughout all of Asia. He has coordinated and led numerous MBA & EMBA overseas trips. Such programs include Wharton, Stanford, Columbia, HBS, Kellogg, and many more.
Joe is consistently praised for his excellent customer service, as well as for his leadership and passion for Asia. He currently lives in Taiwan and manages most of Real Asia’s Taiwan trips.

Carol Wang
Raised in Taiwan, Carol was an award-winning TV show assistant producer before relocating to the US. She was responsible for a variety of programs including travel, cooking, and news. In the past 10 years, she has worked in the e-commerce and digital marketing fields which has provided her with in-depth knowledge, especially in the US market. Carol excels in creating trips to Taiwan and Japan alike. She has a great passion for traveling and she is always eager to explore new surroundings and experiences.

Luke Hao
Following his graduation from Trinity Western University, Canada with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Luke returned to Beijing, his hometown. As a former Senior Event Organizer, he has 15 years of experience and knowledge in public relations. Luke is a certificated calligrapher and a semi-professional runner who has completed more than 30 full marathons in different countries. He has a profound understanding of sports, education, and culture, and he is keen to share his insights and experiences with students.

Rachel Gong
Rachel is passionate about promoting Asian cultures to the world. She grew up in China and received her education in Australia at the Australian National University and in the United States at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Prior to joining Real Asia, she had almost 10 years of work experience in the environmental industry, primarily with a French multinational company in China as a business development professional. Additionally, her passion for the planet led her to serve as the volunteer supervisor of BellaTerra Consulting, an NGO that promotes sustainable farming for American, Chinese, and Brazilian companies in China. Rachel has extensive travel experience in South Korea, Japan, Thailand, and Singapore.

Jade Pasigna
Jade has over 12 years of experience in customer service, technical support, administration, and B2C and B2B sales management in a variety of different industries such as TELCO, Insurance, Recruitment, and Travel. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Tourism, certified and passed the Insurance Certification in Singapore College of Insurance, and gained over 95% score in Abacus and Amadeus (GDS). Jade is an expert in the Philippines and Singapore from her time studying and residing in these countries.

Nina LaFerla
Nina is a teacher, scholar, and guide who fell in love with China on her first trip there at age 14. She holds an M.A. in Global History and has spent many years studying, teaching, and guiding in China. She is a devoted educator whose engaging, award-winning teaching style has taken her to classrooms around the world, from France to the Tibetan regions of China. Whether she’s in the classroom, the conference room, or on the road, Nina is passionate about facilitating incredible journeys that educate, empower, and inspire.

Stanley Harsha
Stanley Harsha is a former U.S. diplomat, with over 30 years of experience in Asian affairs. Currently, he is President of U.S.-Asia Education Exchanges, which assists U.S. universities in establishing partnerships with Asian universities and to recruit students. He now divides his time between the United States and Asia, dedicating his time to writing, advancing international educational exchanges between Asia and the U.S..

Tony Qu
Holding two EMBA degrees in Tsinghua PBCSF and China Europe International Business School, Tony runs several investment firms in East Asia and Southeast Asia. He helps set up business visits in Singapore, Indonesia and China.
