Sales Senior Associate
Job Description:
You will be mainly responsible for selling Real Asia customized study trip services, to K-12 schools and college programs. You are expected to be well connected with your area and will be contacting potential clients (teachers and directors) to present our services and visit them. You will create sales proposals and other sales material for schools’ approvals, and help schools promote trips among students and parents.
*We especially welcome candidates from Boston, Chicago, San Francisco, LA, New York and Denver areas to apply but anywhere could be qualified.
Required Skills and Experience:
At least five years of working experience. You should be familiar with the US K-12 and college system. Fluent English communication skills including spoken and business writing. Advanced skills in an Asian language. Travel experience in Asia. Microsoft Office 365. Prior sales experience and using a CRM.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Business or education degree or minor.
Salary:
Sales commission based on the gross profit of accounts. A small base salary could be paid depending on additional duty of the job. Usually $50-$80k annually including commissions.
Location:
Irvine, CA for onsite work. Offsite work is allowed.

Position:
You will be mentored by the marketing manager and CEO of the company on many different aspects of the business including product development, marketing support, sales support and client service support. Some of the projects you could be taking include travel product research, product maintenance, marketing research, organizing marketing material, maintaining CRM data, B2B marketing communications, trip planning, attending tradeshows, and possibly escorting trips to Asia and US/Canada.
Work is mostly done in English, but Mandarin is often used in the office or to talk to clients and vendors.
Required skills and experience:
Juniors or seniors. Fluent spoken English communication skills, and basic business writing. Beginner or better Chinese language skills. Familiar with Microsoft Office. Knowledge about Asia.
Salary:
No pay during the first quarter or first semester. May switch to a paid position afterward.
